Summary
One of the world's wackiest, addictive, and enjoyable games hits the N-Gage in its most multiplayer online-focused form to date! Worms World Party features globally appealing humor, habit-forming multiplayer match-ups, and a myriad of game options to keep you coming back for more. Do you want to get your hands dirty in a quick firefight or exercise your generalship in a long, thought-out wormfest? We put control in your hands. Why? Because worms don't have hands, silly! In this turn-based action strategy game, teams of humorously animated worms wage battles across weird, randomly generated landscapes. Single player modes include training missions to hone your creative attack and lightning-speed decision making skills in deathmatch and mission-based games. Unleash mutant worm-destroying sheep, fierce bazooka cannons, and ancient Kung Fu powers on unsuspecting worm opponents. The more worms, the better: 2 people can go head-to-head against each other over a wireless Bluetooth connection, or have a 4-way battle in the N-Gage Arena. Because N-Gage Arena play is turn-based, the speed of your GPRS connection won't affect the quality of gameplay. Test yourself in tournaments, including "Worm King" elimination and "Survival of the Wormiest". Matchmaking helps you find other gamers by skill level or time zone. There's more than one way to top the global rankings in the N-Gage Arena, from top scores to worst friendly-fire offender to most boring worm. [Nokia]

The developers did a fantastic job keeping the look and feel of the game intact even making it feel slightly tighter in control and graphics then the originals.

This is classic Worms action, is everything and has everything it needs to stand out amongst the crowd.

The Bluetooth connectivity adds the perfect shine to an already polished game and with the N-Gage arena offering up notoriety for your individual worms we really see no reason why this shouldn’t be in every N-Gage owners collection.

A fantastic game but in my opinion it could become boring and lose its re-playability values very quickly indeed when just playing the single player modes. Thankfully though the multiplayer capabilities make up for it and this is where this game really shines.

Offers a great amount of color and detail that makes one wonder why there aren’t more 2D strategy games.

It's a fantastic novelty to play it on the go, just by conveniently pressing that game button on your phone with your worm-like finger. Worms World Party is undiluted fun - for a better taste, just add friends, stir and serve.

Although it neither deviates from nor plays as well as the previous iterations of the series, Worms is still pretty fun.

Though it does little to improve on the classic formula, N-Gage Worms is an accurate mobile conversion and should prove to be the only Worms title in many gamers’ pockets for a long time. At least until the inevitable DS and PSP versions turn up anyway.

As much as the game tries to make you hate it, with long waits and complex controls, you can't help but have fun with Worms World Party.

Worms’ roots are in 2D, and the N-Gage version wisely avoids the lure of 3D, unlike so many other N-Gage games. As it is now, it works great on the struggling platform. [May 2005, p.92]
Modojo
It's not particularly thrilling and it doesn't offer anything new if you're a longtime fan of the series, but its rock solid gameplay coupled with its personality and deep customization options make it an essential selection for a system in need of some hits.
