Thunderbolt
A wonderful little conversion of a classic game. It shows what potential the N-Gage can have as a gaming machine if given a little love and attention.

The game’s frame rate could be better; it doesn’t quite reach the expected 30 frames per second, but the frame rate doesn’t stutter, providing for a smooth experience which is appreciated more than a stuttery frame rate that reached 30 at times.

With a sophisticated damage system and realistic driving physics, it's the best N-Gage racer to date.

A racing game that almost feels out of place on the N-Gage device due to its realism, attention to detail and exceptional game-play, which should delight all you rally enthusiasts out there. This game is by far the most advanced racing game available for the device.

Worthy of its lofty name and provenance, and it's one of the very best racing games available for its platform.

The world hasn't seen a mobile racer this good before and it probably won't see another until the PSP is released.

The graphics are solid, the physics are realistic...and the racing is actually fun. [Holiday 2004, p.142]

The game looks and plays great, and the many options at your disposal, 64 tracks, and the ability to wirelessly race a friend as well as ghosts via the N-Gage Arena make it the system's best racing game.

A stunning achievement on N-Gage, and handheld gaming as a whole. If you've been dissatisfied with driving on the go like I have, take this baby for a spin.

This is very much a real Rally game! Considering it's on N-Gage platform it's pretty amazing: all the settings, cars, co-pilot, weather and stages are there. And it also seems to have the full 4-wheel physics of the real game, or at least almost perfect simulacrum! The N-Gage control pad is not the best for driving. The tracks are modified wider to acommodate it, but still feels stupid to drive a car on your phone... The narrow screen is not perfect for in-car perspective either.
