GameNow

The best looking, most fluid portrayal of football you can find. [A: Sept 2002, p.50]

GamePro

The game is a little more tuned toward hardcore players since there are few playcalling aids once your squad lines up a scrimmage, unlike "Madden NFL 2003" which displays play “overlays” to help you remember what to do.

Gaming Age

This might not be the year that Sega's series tops Madden in the sales charts, but we might look back at 2003 as the year Sega's NFL 2k3 became the better game.

Nintendophiles

Almost on par with the Madden series of football games. They are getting ever so close with the graphics, game play, sound, and presentation.

Nintendo Power

Tight controls and realistic touches - such as weather and fatigue - make NFL 2K3 a touchdown for sim fans. [Sept 2002, p.163]
