Critics can pound sand. This is a great show.

Ferd B gave it a0:
Think "Nerdface" -- as in "Blackface" Insulting on several levels, predictable, 30 years out of date, intensely not funny. Feeds into offensive stereotypes rather than trying to explode them. I can extrapolate the entire series based on the pilot -- or just on the character descriptions. This review is based on the pilot and two other episodes late in the first season. If since repremanded my TiVo for this -- it will not happen again.

joey l. gave it a10:
Lets give it up for Sheldon's laugh!

stevie j. gave it a10:
It is only funny to the people who are smart enough to understand it :) no offense or anything.

James N gave it a10:
This is one of the best comedies in a long time. The cast is amazing together and they even admit to having some "geeky" qualities. The Chicage Tribune is clearly reviewed by a "popular" person who cannot relate to the story line. While those of use who toed the "popular/unpopular" line or were immersed in subjects that clearly made us geeks see the complete brilliance of this show.

Jim J gave it a9:
My wife and I watch the season 1 and 2 DVD's over and over again. She is not a geek like me, and she still can't get enough of the show.

Tom T gave it a10:
Great show. Took a while to grow on me. Great cast. Great writing.

Gokul P gave it a10:
This is the funniest comedy tv show i have ever seen.Being an Engineering student i really love it. If you are a lover of Technology, women & fun then watch it.

Sus S gave it a10:
Funniest new show in many years! Well written! Well cast!

Leela S gave it a6:
The Big Bang Theory is a breakthrough for science geek-targeted sitcoms. That being said, there are many flaws that keep it from being appreciable by all geeks. Firstly, occasionally its science is wrong in a way that would actually make the episode different; and yet just about every geek in this seems to have vast stores of knowledge on every form of science, which makes it harder to believe the characters and actually kills the possibility of more geek jokes (sociologist and a biologist duking it out over biological essentialism?). The distinction between the geeks lie in social stereotypes (the uber-nerd, the horny-guy, the Indian, etc.) rather than fields of study. Even so, there is a strong emphasis on straight, white, male nerds, with only a token Indian male and White female. Unless we're looking at specifically D&D nerds (which are still not homogeneous), it's incredibly misrepresentative to not include more "minorities" in the regular cast and it can alienate the many viewers who can get the jokes but can't relate. The central plotline (romantic tension with the neighbor) is much harder to believe as the neighbor, Penny, is stupid, ignorant, not in the slightest bit curious about what they're talking about, is stereotypically 'blonde,' and has absolutely no chemistry with the male lead. In fact, the only thing that implies that there is any chemistry between her and the main character, Leonard, is the terribly abused laugh track, which makes some of the more subtle jokes fall on their face or be neglected entirely. It seems that the laugh track is intended to tell the non-science geeks when they should laugh, but reviews by non-geeks reveal that it's not helping. The good aspects of this show lie in the geek in-jokes. Some are simply cheesy, but overall they appeal to higher thought and involve an array of sciences. While the plotlines are underdeveloped, most of the humor is based in researched science makes it worth watching. Even the factual inaccuracies are excuseable as it is militant in defining the scientific method with accuracy. Overall, it's a fun watch, but it's a long way from being a respectable portrayal of geeks.

Daniel W gave it a10:
Sharp writing that respects the intelligence of the audience much like Frasier did. The cast is fantastic but the stand-out is Jim Parsons. He has created a character that will be long remembered - an absolute original!

Coco Bunny gave it a7:
One of the few traditional sitcoms on that's actually watchable. The characters are lovable, the jokes are funny more often than not, and as someone already said, it reminds me of the good ol' days of sitcoms in the 90s. The laugh track is a bit overused, though, as in any sitcom, and I can see this getting old if it runs past its prime (I'm *glaring* at you, "According to Jim"). But for now, it's witty and amusing. One of the best shows on network TV.

Kimberly S gave it a10:
This show rocks. As a self proclaimed nerd, I relate to many of the jokes. The writing and casting for this show is amazing. Although I like each of the characters, Sheldon steals the show.

Joseph H gave it a9:
I just spent the last few weeks watching entire first and second seasons of this show. I love it. I think Chuck Lorre finally got the mix of characters and situation that works well with the comedy writing. Granted it isn't cutting edge, make you think, laugh two hours later when you finally get the joke, comedy. I admit it is fluff comedy, but it is good fluff comedy. Most of the jokes are right out there, but there are a number of them that you just have to be a geek to get. My only annoyance is I think they have taken Sheldon's character from odd ball geek to an almost Autistic level. Sheldon on watching the clone wars TV show before seeing the movie: “I intend to let George Lucas disappoint me in the order in which he intended.”

James U gave it a10:
This is a wonderfully written comedy, if you understand the science behind it.

Dan B gave it a9:
Addicting sitcom, blond chick is fine!

Paul J gave it a10:
Very very funny.

Trent F gave it a10:
I love this show. While, it could definitely function without some of the sexual innuendo, it is the kind of show that I miss from when I was growing up in the 90s. One that's fun but doesn't cause you to think too hard while watching. Just laugh with the audience.

Liam gave it a10:
Comic timing at its best!! Parson's mannerisms as Sheldon are hilarious and Helberg does an outstanding job as Howard. Highly recommended!

dan l gave it a0:
The worst show ever. One dimensional characters, very stupid jokes. I really get all the jokes, I love science, I know geek: I was living in a house full of geeks playing WoW 24 hours (when he was out, he left a bot playing for him!). I love science, quantum physics, astrophysics. Believe me, even I get the jokes they are poorly delivered and too exaggerated. My favorite programs so far are "Burn Notice" (The new McGyver+A Team+Bourne!), "House M.D.", some "Chuck", Family Guy (so full of non-sequiturs!) and definitely Robot Chicken!

Robert W gave it a10:
The first American show ever to have really advanced jokes, sure they often mix the jokes with pure stupidity but if you actually know a bit of quantum theory (not many does) the jokes get about 5 times as good. Unfortunately the show more or less falls flatt in many cases since the average person won't be able to get jokes about theoretical physics. But for us nerds out there, this is pure gold.

Rudyard B gave it a0:
There are a bunch of CBS trolls below me, because this is the worst show I've ever seen. The laugh track is out of control, and the dialogue is idiotic. Horrible Horrible Horrible, Blech.

Rachael J gave it a5:
There's nothing wrong with it specifically but even jokes that should be funny just don't make me laugh. I think it's getting very tired very quickly.

Brad H gave it a0:
They should have titled this show "4 nerds an a 6" The male nerd characters are one dimensional and unfunny, the girl is average looking and unexplored. You could put a 4 midgets playing badmitton after 2 1/2 men and it would still draw good ratings. Unwatchable!

Andy G gave it a10:
More entertaining than an Orion green-skinned slave feeding grapes to Captain Kirk.

Tomas gave it a10:
Probably the best show there is.

Fred S gave it a10:
This show is the funniest ever!

Carlos Q. gave it a10:
Just a funny and clever show! (Not only for geeks).

melissa m. gave it a10:
Its the best show ever!

John M. gave it a10:
Great show, intelligent and witty with some classic lines!

Kelsy P. gave it a10:
Easily my all time favorite show. Finally, a new show that is not complicated and once again all of the issues are solved in a neat 30 minutes. Talk about a break from your day.

Shawn L. gave it a10:
A friend of mine turned me onto this show. I was hooked after one episode! It works for the same reason Friends was such a hit. The characters are genuinely likable and down to earth. You can't help but like Sheldon even if he's pretentious and arrogant and what guy (even non-geeks) can't relate to the seemingly unattainable hot chick scenario that Leonard finds himself in. Finally this show is just plain hilarious! I'm laughing out loud during most of each episode. I especially like that Penny is from Nebraska, although I don't know many people from Omaha that can hog tie anyone...Lincoln maybe.

Steve V. gave it a9:
Clever show! Some jokes are easily seen coming, but it's not about reinventing the wheel. It's a show about a few geeks, and it REALLY does the job well. VERY funny! Hell, even my girlfriend (who's not a geek) loves it!

Jake gave it a9:
Call me a geek (which i properly am) but this show just gets better and better and better. God knows how the supposed "experts" hated it so much, it it truly hilarious. Jim Parsons (playing Sheldon) is the best new comic on TV, and has completely mastered his role as the unbelieveably socially inept geek-king. Despite seeming to loose its way about a quarter of the way in, it quickly moves into its own, and doesnt stop getting better. Season 2 is on air now, and if youre interested in great sitcoms (or geekdom) then go buy the first season and catch up, ready for the next episode. It promises to be awesome.

Raul N. gave it a10:
Is probably the funniest tv serial in some years. Is easy that the "not geek" people can't understand some jokes but is a very good option with one of the best characters in years, Sheldon.

Adam A gave it an8:
The worst written comedy that still never fails to make me laugh. I'm ashamed to say I've never missed an episode.

Christopher gave it a10:
I love this show, it is a refreshing new show. The humor is evident, and caused me to laugh out loud through every episode. I will continue to watch and hope that it continues to deliver the humor.

Selma O. gave it a10:
Great show and jokes.

Diego T. gave it a10:
Great show! Sooo funny!

Cindy S. gave it a10:
Absolutely the best show!!! I love all of the characters.

Steve gave it a10:
Perhaps being a Physicist biases me, but I do love it so.

Rob C. gave it a10:
This show rocks.

Gordon M. gave it a9:
A fantastic comedy that will hopefully run and run.

cfadfc wfcwrfw gave it a0:
Very not funny, bad timing, obvious, don't care about the characters. Don't mean to be rude but i think many American comedies are exactly the same, no risk and obvious humor. Joey..big bang...just shoot me...my name is Raymond, hope and faith or whatever that craps called. Loving Curb your enthusiasm at the moment, shame producers aren't looking at more modern American comedies like that.

Mike U. gave it a10:
The funniest comedy in a long time! You have to be a little nerdy to get some of the jokes, so this show is kind of targeted toward nerds. Still, there are quite a few jokes that most people will still get. In conclusion, this is a really good comedy and they really should make a season 2.

Josie K. gave it a10:
This show always makes me laugh! The geek culture in-jokes are spot on. I love how each guy has his own special brand of geekiness.

Jerry R gave it a10:
Hilarious show - nerd-comedy is over the top but hilarious!

John T. gave it a9:
This show is just great and funny. They take the best of geek culture and turn it into a sitcom. Great guys and a hot girl make for great comedy.

Wyatt H. gave it a0:
A generic and lowest common denominator show. I cannot fathom how any person could enjoy this. The jokes are forced and horribly obvious, but more importantly...they're not funny!

Isabel P. gave it a10:
This is the funniest and smartest thing that television has shown in decades. The irony used in the show is so brilliant and so well written between smart jokes and scientifically facts that the average American is curse never to get it (and probably hates the show) but this is an original, intelligent and fascinating series that I can't not wait to see every week. Let's just hope CBS does not compromise to keep the era of "The OC" and "Reality TV CRAP" let's them get this wonderful show of the air

P N. gave it a0:
With out a doubt the worst thing i have seen in a long time. I thought there was no way i could hate that guy more after Roseanne but i was wrong. All the characters seem to be the exact same. Avoid at all cost, makes the class look like Seinfeld!!

Neil M. gave it a10:
This is a great show. great cast. Very funny.

Sean R. gave it a10:
This is a cool show.....the mixture of geeks and the hotness of kaley really hits you......roll on season 2.

Gordon S. gave it a9:
You guys voting 0 and 1 please get a life!! I am a nerd (uk version) and I laughed my wotsits off - first 2 episodes are fantastic with plenty of LOL moments. Watched it with my son who peed his pants as well - Nerds will be the biggest fans of this show - it will be a big hit here...

Brian M. gave it a10:
Funniest and most intelligent show on TV in a long, long time. The writing is genius and the acting is terrific. Can't wait until they come back with new shows in March.

Gayle gave it a10:
Love it! Can't wait for it to return after the writer's strike is over!

Alexander J. gave it a10:
Funny. I like the fact that you actually have to pay attention to what the characters are saying. Jokes for people with an IQ larger than their shoe size…gotta love that

[Anonymous] gave it a10:
this show is both original and hysterical. please someone tell the studio to make season 2

William B. gave it a10:
Really different type of show very witty will not miss a show.

Anika W. gave it a10:
Best Comedy on CBS. So squeaky clean and innocent. You may not understand the science, but the heart if the matter is there. These "nerds" live in a conflicting world of reason and fantasy. I knew guys like this in college. I ask myself every week, could Sheldon be any more neurotic? And every week the answer is yes. Thank you CBS for airing a sitcom with integrity- not relying on cleavage, sexual innuendo or some nerdy foreign guy with an accent- oh wait....

Xavier V. gave it a10:
The best comedy in many years. The dialogues are brilliant. The characters very charming. Almost perfect!

Ron M. gave it a9:
Without a doubt the funniest and brightest sit-com on TV today. I hope it will remain for a few more seasons. There's so much material to work with yet to let this one die out.

Sara gave it a10:
I literally laugh out loud every time I watch this. I find Sheldon to be a Gen X version of Niles Crane -- but still pretty unique in his own right.

T Rod gave it a9:
i just start watching the episodes, i had already watched them online at least twice, i love the dialogues though the timing might improve a little and also some characters need more work like wolowitz, also hopefully it won't fall into the expected "can't win cause I'm a nerd" attitude. and contrary to some say i actually thing that we are not all laughing at the geeks, but at their unique geekiness which can be unexpected at times and therefore is funny. i guess just a geek can understand/relate to a geek, so in the end we are just laughing at ourselves.

Chaz gave it a0:
I tried watching. i like most of the characters... but the effeminate, im smarter than everyone else on the planet pee-wee herman guy is way to annoying. too over the top.

Renee gave it a10:
This is the best show of the season.Hilarious writing and superb acting!

Karen A. gave it a10:
What a crack up! The situation is lame, but it is still hilarious.

Lucindo T. gave it an8:
This is alright. Some parts are funny. Really shows how Geekdome is like.

Ryan C. gave it a10:
If you get the jokes like I do (WoW references, social awkwardness, the Doppler costume!) this is one of the best new shows of the season. If you don't, like my wife, you'll laugh at some parts but will never catch on to the real treasures in the subtle references.

Jackie P. gave it a10:
Finally! A sitcom with a talented cast able to deliver words with more than one syllable. Leonard and Sheldon are laugh out loud funny, and when the whole nerd posse is together, it's must see TV at its finest. Keep the plaid pants and the obsessive compulsive behavior comin!

Kyle T. gave it a10:
It's clever and hilarious at the same time. The "nerds'" performance is wonderful, and I'd recommend this show to anyone who's smart enough to understand the humor.

Sunil M. gave it a10:
Man this show rocks. It really puts on perspective the social behavior most true minds face. It is remarkable how writers could get into the mind of geniuses and make a show about it. Perfect 10.

Kenneth L. gave it a10:
Well... It looks like based on the ratings here that you either LOVE it or HATE it... I love it... I consider myself a nerd of sorts, and I think that we should be able to poke fun of everyone! So to all you uptight stiffs... GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR BUTTS! It's funny.

Kelly H. gave it a9:
I have several physicist friends. The show makes me laugh . The portrayal of the physicists life styles is humorously accurate. Keep the episodes coming, I'm hooked.

Arjun K. gave it a10:
It's a nice show. Light humour. I have never seen it on TV yet. Always see it online. hehe.. and I am originally from New Delhi, India and a geek at that... :) so it's kinda fun to watch this show.

Joyce gave it a10:
Brilliant, even their t-shirts are worthy of winning "Best set design". I love the stairs!

Elisa U. gave it a10:
Darling show! I haven't seen anythinng this funny, with such likeable characters in a long time. Excellent.

Alfredo O. gave it a10:
The thing about this show, is that all of us geeks can identify with it and laugh.

Tammy B. gave it an8:
I thought it was very funny. Can't wait to see the next show.

Marialyce G. gave it a10:
This show is hilarious. Yes, they are nerds. Yes, she is dingy. Their characters play off wonderfully with each other. Sheldon is one of the best straight men that I have seen in a long time. I think everyone will get in touch with their "inner nerd" watching this show.

William B gave it a10:
Originally watched this show to pass the time until Heroes came on. Now, I hate to miss an episode!!! The show is so hilarious. Sheldon makes such a wonderful straight man and sidekick to Leonard. You don't have to be a genius to know funny, and this is it!!!

Lizabeth B gave it a9:
This is one of the best sitcoms I have seen in a long time. I was quickly drawn in by the characters, and find the dialogue to be quite funny. I wish the show a long run!

May Love gave it a10:
One of the funniest shows that I have seen thus far!

Cindy W. gave it a10:
This is the first show in a long time that makes me laugh outloud.

Randolph W. gave it a9:
It's a great program and I love it...it is too elevated in dialogue and humor for the average viewer...I hope it lasts.

Jennifer W. gave it an8:
I like this show. It makes me laugh and smile, and I like the characters and their quirks. It does what a TV should do...it gives me 30 minutes of escape from the real world!

Christian P. gave it a0:
this is a disaster. every "nerd" stereotype possible, plus a storyline as cliched as the hot girl next door... the jokes are far from smart. they are easy, sad, and half-assed. kill this show now.

Carrie S gave it a10:
Love this show! Filled with full-blown belly laughs - I hope it sticks around for a long time.

Rita B. gave it a9:
What a great show. Intelligent dialogue. No off-color comments, cast works well together. And didn't I see the blonde in "8 Rules"?

Dawn R. gave it a9:
This is the funniest more intelligent show I've seen in years! Ranks up there with 3rd Rock From The Sun.

John R gave it a9:
This is the best written comedy on TV today. While the geek falls for pretty girl premise is nothing new, the interaction between the main characters is crisp, clean and very funny.

Sky P. gave it a9:
For a change it has some depth and dry humor! I ;ove it. The geeks are great and Cinderilla is sweet eye candy!

C. J. gave it a10:
very funny, i look forward to it every Monday!

M K gave it a1:
Terrible. Gave it a 1 for actually making it past the first episode.

Michael R. gave it an8:
Its the best show since Friends finished.I don't understand how anyone could hate the show. Its got tons of jokes and they are very clever similar to Frasier but better.Yes its not perfect but its as close to perfect as you can ever get.I mean come on Carpoolers,Caveman,Pushing Daisies,Aliens in America, & Reaper those shows just flat out suck.

John N. gave it an8:
Great chemistry in main characters, funny premise.

Rebecca gave it a10:
Love it. My husband and I love this new show. Please keep it on the air.

Cheri P. gave it a10:
This is the first show in a long time that I actually care enough to pay attention to when it is on. Love it.

R D gave it a2:
This is a show based on one joke. We get it...they're nerds. "The Class", which this show replaced, was much better.

borat s. gave it a10:
the best of show of the 2007 season i swear its gonna be one of the few shows that makes it past the freshman lineup. one could only hope that this will make it and not a piece of crap like cavemen

Scott G. gave it a10:
This is the best new sitcom in years. Absolutely the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.

M M. gave it a9:
This show is aimed for the above-average crowd, if your in to cars, babes, action and hard abs, skip this because you wont understand it. Besides being misunderstood, this is a fantastic new sitcom.

Daniel G. gave it a10:
this is the only sitcom on a tv network that i can watch every week and not get board. To me, this is a nerdy version of That '70s Show.

Bob F. gave it a10:
Wonderful show. Best sitcom since "The odd Couple". It is obvious that most of the reviewers cant remember the odd couple and really cant focus long enough to appreciate the intelligent and witty dialogue. It would take an IQ of more than a house cat to really appreciate this show. Those who dont get it turn off the TV and go text message someone or call your BFF Jill. Idiocracy!!!

John G. gave it a10:
Great humor which points out the differences between the people in our society who take on higher pursuits and the rest of us. Very intelligent comedy.

Troy I. gave it a10:
Finally! A comedy that I actually laugh at. Don't cancel!

K Anderson gave it a9:
If CBS takes this off the air I will cry. I love this show. I tivo it and watch it at least twice. I laugh harder the second time.

Billy D. gave it a10:
Not since Frasier has smart been back on TV I love this show. Very well written and well played out. This is a must see for anyone who scored above 1400 on their SAT Test.

Tim C. gave it a10:
Hilarious!!!!!!

d m. gave it a10:
i loved it. don't see this as being a hit on "geeks or others that may be picked on". I have a child who has seen many years of geekdom and not so nice people around him. We made it through with laughter and with the help of a very pretty and nice young girl who befriended him. Life may not be as funny as sitcoms but maybe sitcoms can help others to see more interaction is possible.

mark c. gave it a9:
Had some really laugh out loud times.

Bearette gave it a0:
Stupid show...main attraction (for men) is the busty blonde. But really, couldn't you just find more of those online? The dialogue is the worst I've ever head.

Gabor S. gave it a10:
I love this show. So funny and Kaley is a really gorgeus Eyecandy.

J Rowan gave it a5:
Entertaining and will keep on tuning in, but I haven't found it funny. It may be that I relate with the guys that I find it entertaining but not funny though. I get the humor, but it isn't funny to me.

Emilia J. gave it a10:
What can I say? I have an adolescent sense of humor. I think "Two and a Half Men" is hilarious, consistently. I think the critics are punishing this show because they hate Chuck Lorre (why? don't know, maybe they mistrust people with both an adolescent love of slapstick and fart jokes PLUS a foundation in literature and history). In any case, I'd recommend everyone at least check this out. My highest accolades: I fell off the sofa laughing, and tears came to my eyes once in each episode so far. For someone like me who just wants to be entertained, that's the pinnacle of great (not deep and meaningful--but great) TV. I just want writing and delivery that makes me laugh. This delivers.

bonnie m. gave it an8:
Loved it. Had many laugh-out-loud moments. Enjoyed the second episode too.

Shanna A gave it a9:
I love this type of "super smarty pants" comedy! Only, I hope they keep the comedy fresh and not always reliant on stereo-typical nerd references. I would also love to see more exploration into the complexity of the nerd characters' vulnerable, sensitive sides when they learn they don’t have the answers to everything – especially real life problems life.

Tom M. gave it a7:
Nice concept of nerds and new blond neighbor. First episode was entertaining. Let's hope the concept doesn't go stale.

Jennifer R. gave it a10:
Funniest show on TV since "Third Rock from the Sun." Good intellectual humor!

Jason W. gave it a0:
Shows like this are responsible for re-enforcing the negative stereotypes that go along with bullying Shows like this are responsible for all the picking on and teasing that goes on in HS..MS..so on. The writers should be ashamed of themselves and I hope that they one day have a son or daughter that gets picked on in school for the very same jokes they write.

Jason Voorhees gave it a10:
Very funny. I like the fact that a very attractive girl doesn't mind being seen with "nerds". It's very sad how in TV the "beautiful" people are never seen with the geeky, the average or the kinda goofy so this was a very refreshing bit of entertainment. i would give it a 50 if they would let me.

C J. gave it a10:
It was a different and new approach to comedy. We loved it!

Marisa V. gave it a10:
It is funny and that it all that matters

autumn P. gave it a10:
I love it. It is very funny.

Larry K. gave it a10:
I have to say that I really liked this thing. I laughed out loud and that's what I really want from comedies -- to laugh. Also the guys really reminded me of my nephew who's at MIT and is exactly like these guys.

Colin C gave it a5:
A huge number of the "jokes" made me groan out loud. The "nerd" lingo that is plied so heavily throughout for laughs just isn't funny. That said, there were three jokes in the show that actually made me laugh out loud. The girl guides getting into the building, the joke the one guy made made about his future kids and his friend's comeback, and one other that's momentarily escaping me as I write this (oh well.) Personally, I think this show could become much better if the writers would stop trying to beat us over the head with their "nerd" lingo and let their two main leads breathe a little more as real people. I may check in on this show again in 2 or 3 episodes to see if it's improved any.

Hamooli K. gave it a0:
No talent whatsoever in this waste of eyeballs.

Jeff S. gave it a1:
Admirable in its attempt to try using a different kind of lead sitcom character than the usual 'Friend'. Too bad it fails at any attempt in being funny.

J M gave it a4:
While it has its moments, the fact is that this show is laughing at these nerds, not with them. A straight-forward, mindless sitcom from a guy that should be able to do better than this. Now we know why this pilot was shot down last year.

Jason M. gave it a1:
I'm a fan of How I Met Your Mother and I was taping Chuck anyways so I decided to watch this in between HIMYM and Heroes and it was a huge mistake. I had to turn it off after 10 minutes because it was so painful to watch. I'm sure it's great for people who like to laugh at nerds because they use "nerd lingo" and apparently have no social skills. It's just distasteful.

Chris C. gave it a0:
Three camera style sitcoms are lame in general, but this one manages to feature even less believable negative nerd stereotypes than Steve Urkel. I don't think any of the writers has ever met an actual nerd. The goal of the writing seems to be to make it's viewers feel better about antagonizing them in high school. And even being personally insulted by every single line wouldn't be so bad if any of the jokes were remotely funny, any of the situations not completely forced, or if any of the characters seemed remotely similar to any human being you might actually meet in real life.
