Anchorwoman's premise -- a former model and game show hostess decides to change careers and try her hand at newscasting -- must have sounded very promising on paper, especially to network executives who can't plan beyond one season, which is all this premise is good for. Well, at least they tried to do something different -- almost. It was worth a shot. You know, the wrong casting director could have cast Paris Hilton and turned this show into the latest season of “The Simple Life.” At least they had the good sense to cast a bimbo who is serious about her efforts – at least ostensibly – and a news team who can act effectively enough to make the drama seem less scripted than it really is. It just wasn’t very funny. I wasn’t really surprised to see it canceled after opening night. I did laugh at least twice. I laughed when Lauren Jones was out in the field (literally) and asked where the bathroom was, and I laughed when she goofed off in a cubicle, not realizing that she was visible on camera. I could see just about any rookie making that mistake their first week.

Absolute waste of time. that sports Diva was just horrible. Please---no more! Oh good I see they canceled it. She should stay with WWW. I like that.

Nancy N. gave it an8:
Very entertaining as well as hysterical...which is what TV is all about. I hope somebody picks this up so we can see more. You didn't even give this show a chance!!

Robert H. gave it a0:
Ha ha. This show already got canceled. Ha ha!

Had a few funny moments but the fundamental premise that her colleagues believe Ms. Jones somehow degrades the profession of journalism while it is ok to have a weather dog does not fly. In some respects, the show puts the correct perspective on what editors have allowed journalism to become.
