Very light, fun, and summery miniseries. Nothing spectacular, but it kept me entertained.

Nice story...i think it keeps you hooked in a soap operal type of way... But does anyone else think the acting is TERRIBLE??!! Is there a ton of voice overs? Debra Messing does a good job though...

It's basically a cartoon with live actors -- the cliches are over-the-top, the situations preposterous but earnestly portrayed. But the heroine is likeable, the villains (as it were) detestable, and the dialog is often fun, so as a slight summer-diversion I think it works well. I'm only sorry to that Joe Mantegna's part turned out to be so brief.

Terrible writing

It's Desperate Housewife, just as cliched and claustrophobic. Like that show it is precious, and oh so derivative, using every device ever used: going back to Thirty Something. It can't find it's tone ricocheting from cute comedic to touching dramatic moments often in the same scene. It tries too hard to be too much. By episode two, I''d had too much of this sugary creampuff. Debra Messing does her best acting yet, which isn't much.

Boring, thrown together mini character stories that leave you wanting to change the channel. In the end all you can say is -who cares?

veronica l gave it an8:
finally a rom-com that's both smart and silly -- just perfect for summer viewing

Christine gave it an8:
Great summer TV! I'm not a Debra Messing fan but the previews looked interesting and catchy. Watched last week and loved it! Can't wait to see what happen next!

The first-rate cast can't hide the fact that the story is unoriginal, boring, low brow drivel.

I was not compelled to want to watch it each week. We've seen the shallowness of Hollywood portrayed many times. I think Meghan Mullally would have been a better pick for the role of Molly.

This show stinks! Just finished watching it-and the clock-through all two hours. It was laughably bad. We kept trying to guess who the cliched characters were meant to be(memo to Angelina:get dumpy, old nannies or you'll be sorrrry!) What a self-absorbed, unlikeable main character, which would be okay if the role was well acted. Debra Messing is not a good actress-just a lucky one. I bet not too many will remember to tune in to this again.
