Fair to poor. Would-be clever scenes tacked together to look like a thrilling TV show, but not making much sense. Characters all over the map but not really going anywhere. Frantically dull. I didn't keep watching when it changed times. The finishing up on a website was good for a laugh, though.

Some of the actors were crappy, but over all this show was awesome. It kept you guessing what would happen next plus it had a lot of twists and turns. Even though it had low ratings FOX should have kept it going for the last 4 episodes. Even though they are avalible on the web some people cannot view them, including me. I hope Vanished at least comes out on DVD, and soon!

Great program. good suspense. I MISS IT!!! and the least the producers can do, is to run all the episodes that were filmed and ready to be aired. That we have to go in search of it is ridculous. why not run the remaining episodes when all the reruns are on during holidays or ??? on Saturday night TV that stinks? LOL.. Good, I feel better now, but not happy that I don't know the end.

Well, thank god the worst show of all time has been cancelled. The writing, directing, and most particularly, the acting, absolutely sucked. None of these actors should ever be cast again, particularly the ones playing the daughter and her boyfriend. They were especially awful. I hope never to see them again.

My fear was that this series would be too complex and would lose me if I missed an episode but if I can become addicted to 24 AND miss an occasional episode... My craving for answers hasn't wained and I find the actors top notch.

Although it is not as good as Prison Break, Vanished is fast paced enough to maintain interest, and has quite a few twists and turns that would keep viewers guessing, I thoroughly enjoy this show and look forward to its next episode.

fast paced, interesting political concept...some very obvious flaws that everyone can see. In addition the actors are stiff...especially the actor who plays the senator...and sorry...the fbi agent is also a light weight. But oh the intrigue of the plot!!! That's why I continue to watch. I just hope we find out who and why before they cancel it.

Jeez guys - its obvious that the negative reviewers were somehow biased to begin with, or just never gave it a chance. I admit, the first 2 episodes were kinda slow, (like most pilots are) but it picked up and now I can't wait until Mondays. To make such a quick decision to replace Gale Harold to boost ratings (Bahahahahaaa!) is ridiculous. It will for sure fail now because without Agent Kelton the show is nothing. He is a wonderful actor and doing a great job with the crap that he was given to work with. The fact remains, that Gale Harold is the only one holding the show together and keeping viewers. When he goes, so will the show. Fox is insane.

I really like the show. It moves very fast, and is intense. The plot has many twists and it causes me to focus on the clues and different angles of the kidnapping. It is obviously more than a "ransom" kidnapping.

The funniest thing is seeing names I recognize from the zaniest of fansites from QAF and Gale Harold. Fans (the word comes from 'fanatic', which says a lot) think that just because they share a delusion (that some celebrity is perfection on legs) everyone else will come to share it in time. Thus you have insane stalker-lunatics saying that Gale Harold is a good actor. Handsome, yeah. Well-cast in QAF, yeah. But talented? Come on. Only to the deluded True Believers out there. Fans give TV viewers a bad rep as having no taste. Anyone who's not a fan has to admit this show isn't going to last. It's got bad acting, bad writing, and an overcomplicated premise. I love intensity ("Six Feet Under") and shows that aren't easy ("House"), but they have to do it well and have great writing as well. An actor being cute might be reason enough to watch "Smallville" (no effort required), but not something like "Vanished".

Tell me is there anyone on this show you can like? I know its not the greatest of scripts but with all the characters they have there are only 2 or 3 actors. Some of the plot lines a so obvious its painful. Maybe over the course of the series they will be able to develop someone you can like.

This shows takes place in Atlanta. So how come no one has a southern accent? I lived in Atlanta for 13 years and I can tell you most people have an accent. I cannot imagine a senatorfrom Georgia without an accent. He wouldn't be elected.

The first couple episodes were really bad, like Lost's 4 billion mysteries-upon-mysteries with no answers. Only here, instead of way too much character development, we get way too little. Okay, none. But the third episode didn't pile on a bunch more mysteries and it focused on a lot less on all 500 characters and it still moved at a decent clip. A couple more like this, and I'll stick around for the season.

Come on! What the heck was Fox thinking? This is a Without a Trace wanna be that doesn't even come close to the quality of the original. I think the majority of the positive ratings are all coming from people with the hots for the actors on the show and not the show itself.

The only thing lacking in this great series is a leading lady with some depth. The actress that plays Agent Mei needs to come through with the intensity that Agent Kellan provides. Go Gale!

I like most folks, tuned in to see Gale Harold. He had me hooked in QAF. I've stuck it out through 3 painful shows. The story line has some potential, but the characters are HORRIBLE!!! Especially Marcy, the senator's daughter. She has the IQ of a brick. I can't believe how much of an idiot she is. The brother too. I gave Vanished more than enough chances. Even the previews for the next episode are boring. I hope this gets cancelled and then maybe, Gale can get something with more substance. Vanished is like the backwoods borderline retatrded cousin of 24.

Please don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, it's still new...Gale is a competent actor--he held QAF viewers mesmerized for five seasons so don't count him out. The writing could be better, and characters maybe more 'fleshed' out, but that isn't the fault of the actors involved, they do their best. Premise is vaguely interesting, but maybe could be improved. If that is true that Gale is out, that is a shame to Fox. I watched this show for him.

Sounded boring in the ads and while watching it neither I nor my girlfriend could work up any enthusiasm over it. I hate to be impatient, but I was thoroughly uninterested and after 15 minutes moved on to watching something else. It might get good, but seems unlikely.

Ok..I have to be honest...I watched the show because of the main character Gale Harold, and there were certain parts in which I was really into it, but even though I am a die hard QAF fan and I would love to support my QAF alumi..I have to say that so far I am really mised because some of the acting is really bad...Gale has his moments on the show but there were certain times when he was kind of off his game also. I mean it is ok but I honestly can not say it is the best show out there ..and not better than 24 at all...I'm sorry to sya it because like I said I love my QAF alumi but if they don't step it up I don't forsee a brilliant star of a hit with this one

Loved the premise and the actor Gale Harold as Graham Kelton is played well, confidantly with a touch of emotion as his last case keeps being brought up. Psychological play on his emotions as clue after clue are found and others bring more questions. A must see.

I like the story line, although we weren't really given the chance to care about the vanished victim. Loved, loved ,loved Agent Kelton-want to see them delve more into his background and family as it pertains to the plot. I liked the Senators son, but I don't trust him. I thought Judy Nash was too over the top and is every cliche you can think of for a reporter. I will keep watching to see how everything develops.

The ratings say it all. This show is a flop and it deserves to be. Someone said that the whole Da Vinci code/kidnapping mystery doesn't mix, and I agree. What a feathered fish!

I feel like I am being force fed fast food by the network when they pump this drivel down our throats and into our minds. The shameless self-promotion and chest-thumping about how great thes how is, when it's just plain mediocre, is ridiculous. Why can't the product be as strong as the marketing? Then, the marketing would be justified--and real--which this show decidedly isn't.

Great twist and turns. Love it. Can't wait for Monday. I have already in my mind accused everyone of the bad deed. When the plot is easy to figure then it is boring. This show is far from boring.

This is a great show -- and for people to call it "boring" than they must not have seen the same show that I saw. It was riveting, exciting and I am certain to clear my schedule to watch the next Vanished. Gale Harold and Ming-Na had great chemistry. I am glad so glad to see Gale Harold -- if anyone can, he can carry this show!!!!

It's a rediculous show of the "Davinci Code" type, meaning that must have looked much better on paper. The dialogues are cheesy and performances are just downright bad.

Gale Harold brings humanity to the role of Agent Kelton. He is a gifted actor who will bring many viewers to the show. The pilot introduces many intriguing possibilities. If viewers care about the characters, as well as the mystery, iit should continue to be a success.

Someone said that Gale Herold is the only good lead actor on TV now. Hello? Kiefer Sutherland from 24? James Gandolfini from Sopranos? Hugh Laurie on House, Matt Fox on LOST? you think Gale is comparable to these award winning actors? Who ever thinks this, you're insane. He's okay, but he's the only decent actor on this show, and the acting and writing is bad compared to the other shows that I've just listed.

Is it better than CSI? No. Better than Without a Trace? No. Has Fox gone insane by comparing mediocre shows like PrisonBreak and now, Vanished, to true gems like 24? Probably. The only decent show FOX has now is 24. That's it.

Meh. an average show with nothing extraordinary to offer. Why do the commercials always say this show is so good? The CGI on the explosion from the commercial is awful, and it has such an odd mixture of mystery and crime solving. It's like the Davinci Code blended in with CSI. The same rough effect as mixing water and oil; it doesn't turn out very well at all.

Why does FOX always exagerate on their new shows? Arrested Development and 24 are great, but they always claim that Prison Break is a "breakout hit". It's not. I decided to give them another chance with Vanished, and the first episode was better than most episodes of Prison Break, but it's not worth my weekly time. I'd rather watch reruns of other FOX shows.

How can this show be a hit when the critics hate it? You think YOU can tell whether a show will be good or not from your OWN opinion from ONE episode? No wonder you're giving it a perfect score. the show was okay, but, perfect? You can't possibly be over the age of 13. You would have better judgment. The show has decent acting, an odd mystery/crime solving writing style, but it suffices. I won't be watching this show weekly since there are much better than this, like House, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, but it's adequate for someone starting to watch dramas on TV. Just remember that shows like Vanished, Prison Break and Smallville are NOT those classics.

I tried to watch the entire episode, and it was okay, but not worth watching. DEFINITELY not worth a 10. Maybe if they had a candian actor like Sutherland in 24.....Just kidding, but seriously, this show is FAR from perfect.

A train-wreck of a show. Like Prison Break, every one expected a huge hit to follow in 24's footsteps, but fails. By the way guys, one actor cant make a show a perfect 10 out of 10. Maybe you should watch some GOOD shows before you hand out 10's to every random show you watch, especially if you've seen a single episode only.

I hated Prison Break. I love 24. Now this new show is being compared to both. It can be compared to Prison Break, but not 24. It's bland, with one decent actor who they actually took from 24, and the stupid ancient mystery surrounding the plot is dumb.

basically it's an 22-part episode of without a trace. although they actually show us the detective work (which can be pretty cool.) i was enjoying it..until they randomly had some "frozen" body come out of nowhere. that's when i had to roll my eyes.

Very much looking forward to this show. I've seen the pilot and was completely drawn into the story and fascinated by many of the characters. I can't wait to get more of Agent Kelton's backstory, regarding his family and the past case that still haunts him. And I already have a "love to hate" character - "journalist" Judy Nash. LOL The possible Illuminati tie-ins are very intriguing as well. Don't write this one off!
