Joe M. gave it a6: A healthy array of maps. but theres a few stinkers in there. Mainly 'Backwash' and 'Elongation'. However, Relic is an enjoyable map, as is Terminal. I also thought that they were a tad over priced. Still... I wasnt amazed, just rather satisfied and no more.
Jack B. gave it a9: Awsome expansion pack, although I would have liked something to do with the campaign, the maps are awsome and the two cutscenses are great, overall, sweet.
Steve P. gave it a0: Uhh, the only reason to get this is if you X-BOX live, and if you have X-BOX live you can download all these maps for free in about 10 min. So inless you want to see the 2 cut sceens that come with it, don't get it.
Justin L. gave it a10: any map made for halo 2 is a good map.. but the map sidewinder and a few others should be brought from halo1 into halo 2.... sidewinder was a good sniping map... not as open as coagulation but still just as big.
Matt V. gave it an8: I bit pricey, I'd just borrow a friend's then just download it onto your Xbox but if you don't know anyone with the map pack its worth buying. Bungie should make more mid-sized levels almost all the levels are big or small. Lockout is still the greatest map ever made, and Turf is pretty good to but all the others are made for lots of players on Xbox live for sniping and CTF.
Adam L. gave it a9: Awsome Maps, but they lack the intrest that the older Halo 2 maps had. Iwish more people played them online...
Cybergriffin gave it a9: The map pack is great. Relic is a cool map, especially for snipers. Terminal is really fun for assault and capture the flag. Gemini is less tactically appealing, but is a visually beautiful map. Turf is a fun urban experience. Sanctuary and Warlock are also nice. Elongation is OK, very nice for those who want a platformer feel to their FPS Halo expericene. All the maps are free now to Xbox Live (XBL) users, but the map pack is a great value for folks who don't use XBL and want to play on a LAN.
Richard S. gave it a2: This multi-map pack has lead to a tremendous amount of cheating. downloadable content is susceptible to modding by xbox hackers and make the game totally not fun to play online. XBOX and Bungie have done a horrible job to protect online players from unfair play, and most of this is due to the greed of having this additional game pack.
MSK gave it an8: $20 is a bit much for 9 maps and material, but they are defineately worth it if you play a lot of halo 2 and need new experience. and kevin: they are available for download, the disc if for people w/out xbl.
silent gave it a5: Don't get me wrong i like Halo and Halo to but their overrated sure their great games but i think there are better games out there!
Kevin S. gave it a5: Wow, thanks Bungie for making us pay for a 20 dollars for a 9 map pack disc instead of just putting them out for download.
Aaron B. gave it a10: The best game in the world just got better.
Mackan the man gave it a10: The new maps rules. [Ed: nice]
Alex gave it a9: Awesome maps. i like parking tanks on the tracks at Terminal. Enlongation was a decent remake, although i think it would have been better without the treadmills.
Someone Special gave it an8: There are two truly terrible maps (Sanctuary and Elongation) and one averagely good but not great map (Gemini). The rest are some of the best in the game. Overall if you cant download them online its worth the money because the other 6 maps are so great, especially Containment.
Tommy gave it a10: Great looking maps. Terminal and Relic are awesome.
KVan gave it a9: If you play Halo 2 online, this is a must. What else are you going to spend $20 on? Seriously. Books?
Scott gave it a10: I love this new maps! They are way fun, and probably extended the life of this game another 6 months or more! Go get 'em!
Sam C. gave it an8: Great new maps but it is still missing that ESCAPE!!!! feeling.
