The best split screen FPS game for the Gamecube and Wii, no doubt, and debatably one of the best multiplayer of all time. With a very large variety of multiplayer modes, characters, weapons, stages, and missions, it's easy to recommend. If you don't have 1-3 other players to play with, the single player is almost as good. A map maker and multiplayer bots do the job. I would reccomend this to all who are interested in a new FPS game, and are also interested in solid multiplayer.

Everyone moans about the story mode being too short... who cares? I've only went through story mode twice, yet the game is still a common player in my console, thanks to the sheer amount of multiplayer options: 150 characters, a huge range of weapons (you hear that halo, with ur 6 or 7 guns?) and many unique ways to play. and if that wasn't enough, theres always MAPMAKER! If story mode is too short for you, make your own stories.

Timesplitters adds so many features into the game, like deathmatch and a superb story mode. Mapmaker allows you to have alot of replay value, and it is very easy to use! It even beats Halo on most aspects! The best game for having nice split screen action with your friends. Over a doven weapons and maps, and coop for story mode! With over 100 characters to choose from, there is always something to do. A Solid Game that competes with today's shooters. GET THIS GAME!

Better than Halo, Killzone, and any other multiplayer game combined! no questions asked. besk game ever created by man!

Awesome game. No questions asked.

This game is the best multiplayer game ever created for the Cube. The crazy characters made the game hilarious yet the gameplay was tense at times. The bots added to the game was a great idea and adds a lot more fun to team deathmatches and other multiplayer modes.

I thought this series has been lacking in a good story up until now. Story mode acually had a story this time, and a pretty good one, I thought. The multiplayer has endless possibilities, and I find myself playing it for hours on end. Even though both TS2 and Future Perfect are impossible to complete even 60% of, let alone 100%, they are loads of fun even after the 1000th time through.

This is the best timesplitters yet. Multiplayer rules. The game may seem short but with all the extra arcade challenges and league modes it is definitely worth it. As to "lack of visual bounce" or feeling like floating when your walking as Ian mentioned in his review, That is characteristic of timesplitters. It's that feeling that allows you to turn really fast and take out your opponent. Other games seem so slow but in timesplitters while it may take getting use to, It definitely enhances the experience for a seasoned veteran. And lack of online play is not a good enough reason for a bad review some people have real friends not just imaginary ones.

This beats Halo out in many places more weapons, way more characters(150 to be exact), It may now be online but does halo have bots that u cud face in multiplayer if ur alone!

As the prison dietician said, "There's big fat pros & cons to be found here!". Future Perfect is a good-looking game on the Gamecube although it sometimes lacks in detail to go with the pretty colours on the surface. It's smooth to play thanks to the excellent control system and it's an undoubted blast right from the very outset. The variety on offer seems to be good as you're given the option to drive several vehicles, take control of various static weaponry and play the game form the perspective of your past and future self. However, if you examine this variation it is rather shallow. All the vehicles handle the same, the weaponry on offer looks ace but performs pretty badly and the multiple-time line approach to the gameplay seems to be an excuse to not have to design another scenario but instead force you to play the exact same section twice. Even the aforementioned smooth control system is hindered by the lack of visual bounce when you walk - it's like you're hovering or skating along at all times and for something so basic to be missing is very disappointing for a game of this magnitude. This would be forgivable if the game was huge but the fact is that, as has always been the case in Timesplitters games, the single player story mode is woefully short both of missions and indeed story. Yes the cooperative mode does enhance the fun that can be had while it lasts, and the nicely humorous characters (especially the Riddick-esque Cortez) combined with sometimes surprisingly spectacular levels (loved the haunted mansion!) ensure that your experience will be a very fun one. However, there is simply no getting away from the fact that outside of the multi-player aspects there is very little on offer. I'd advise a rental before buying, or maybe JUST a rental.

the best of them all, and they say the 1st player sucks, except it was greatly improved from timesplitters 2 and is longer, harder, interesting, hilarious and just rules!

Awesome, awesome game. Lack of online play really is a problem, so p^layers that hve both xbox and ngc should go for xbox version. The game itself is awesome. Single played is longer then in the prequel, A LOT more complete, it even has a story. great characters, with facial expression quality way above expectation. The hero, Cortez, have a very fun and cool personnality, above the muscle jocks in all other game of the genre (renegade and such). The multiplayer is action pack, with tons of characters. Some are old chars revamped, or simply classics character, with a bunch of new addition, both normal looking and strangely original ones. Those who like the prequels will love this game. Finally, the music range from normal to awesome. People who like trans and eletrro music frfom the original will be delighted to hear the new soundtracks. Please don't compare this game with Halo, the only thing it has in common with halo is the first person view.

This game rocks man! It is way better than Halo and Halo2 because it has a better multiplayer, better characters and both Halos don't have a mapmaker! Halo copied the first TimeSplitters with the 16 player, they suck!!

I think this game is going to rock but it will be better if gamecube could also have internet play.
