Lots of fun. i like building crappy schools into powerhouses, but if your looking for gameplay, go buy Madden. I like the mag covers and the fact that i can save my prospects and draft them on madden.

Very good game. In fact, it's just about the only game I even play any more... Personally, I like taking bottom feeder schools and turning them into powerhouses over the course of 5 seasons. Although it is very similar to the 2003 version (I only bought the 2004 when me version of 2003 quit on me), there are some added extras (Sports Illustrated covers, recruiting enhancements) that make it worth buying IMHO. Not perfect though. Sometimes, the screen starts bugging during certain things, e.g., interception returns. But overall, the best football game out there.

I love the dynasty mode and anyone that thinks the names are that important, in dynasty mode, you get them in the off season for fresman and transfers. i love it nomater the names or not. it has all the bowls, all the awards, and the off-season stuff like recruting is AWESOME!!!!! Buy if if you have 40 bucks now!!!!!

The guy that voted a 5 ... should be smacked around for five or so hours.

Whoever says there are no improvements hasn't played much. How about the very convincing play action animations? How about the more realistic tackling physics? How about the better, more balanced AI? Then there's a slew of non-gameplay additions, such as the SI covers (GREAT idea), the incredible depth in Dynasty mode, etc. This game is fast, loose and fun. Just like college football.

Nick M. gave it a 10:
Great game alot like last year but better. New animations are the bomb but a downer to the celebrations are the penalties. But i love the game and got it the day it come out. Now i waiting for the nfl version (madden) to come out. I give it a 10.

Who cares about online play? Most of the people I've played against are jerks, cheat, or hang up before you finish the game. This game rocks, anyone who says the changes are cosmetic hasn't played it for more than a few hours.

Steve S. gave it a 10:
This game AGAIN brings greatness to the xbox....people who don't even like football will want to play this game.

It's an excellent game, but if it didn't say "2004", I wouldn't have noticed any changes. PS2 online - that's significant. But for X, the only changes are a few more plays, some 1AA and historic teams, and those SI covers. Cosmetic. Don't get me wrong; I love the game. I'm glad I got it since my alma mater is now in there. But if you played 03, you played 04. Since Sony bought the online rights to EA, this game seems to be maxed out. Save your money if you have 03 unless you went to *that* 1aa school, and you gotta play as them. =)

Amazing. They improved on last year's iteration considerably, turning in the definitive NCAA football experience. Incredibly deep, with tons of new features: Weekly SI covers, EABio mode, better AI, more realistic tackling, the list goes on. Well worth the money.

Corey F. gave it an 8:
I love the smooth play, and running game. It is by far the best buy out there for college football.

DOC Scholl gave it a 5:
Too much like last years game with some add ons like the classic games. Why don't they have downloads so u can play with NAMES??????? I know right......but I inputted the names last year (SICK, I know) & I refuse to do it again. So I will be returning it for KOTR and simulate a season from last years version and play season two. Buy only if u don't have last year version. DISAPPPOINTED!!!!

Matt R. gave it a 10:
Terrific game. Better than the PS2 version (I'm not a fanboy, and I've played both extensively). The only downer is no online play, but that doesn't appeal to me anyways. Don't listen to fools who give a great game a 0 because it's not online compatible. Grade it for what it is, not what it isn't. Best NCAA FB game to date!

Sean gave it a 9:
Just because they don't have Live doesn't mean it sucks. Lots of great games don't have Live like Halo, and Splinter Cell. This game also plays extremely well and with these significant upgrades the gane has gone to be the best college football game out there.

Alex gave it a 10:
Live is important, yes, but the game is still one of the top SPORTS games out there, better than Madden.

Hugh W. gave it a 0:
No live = no pay. EA need to become Xbox Live friendly or loose all its sport title sales to Sega who are committed to Live.
