Nathan M. gave it a10: Excellent in every way. Claustrophobic camera angles, the Kafka-esque fog, and distorted enemies wandering the streets all contribute to this games scariness. Nothing freakier than playing this game at night and hearing the dreaded air-raid siren that signals your descent into the nightmarish Otherworld.

Playing in the dark will enhance the experience and u will get a connection with the charectars and the silent hill universe questioning the world u live in all in all brilliant game which has brilliant sequels.
Grace S. gave it a 7: The awkward camera angles, dialogue and graphics are rather annoying but Silent Hill isn't without it's scares. This makes the Resident Evil series seem corny. Silent Hill is also very rare now. Anyway, Silent Hill is briliant and I love every newest instalment.
