Easily the best squad-based shooter for Nintendo. The multiplayer mode is my favorite with 2-3 friends hecticly fighting for the flag.

Mr. Orange gave it a10:
Vastly underrated and often overlooked. This is one of the best squad based shooters to come around in a long time.

This game is really fun, I enjoy roaming the streets and killing soviets.

I loved this game! It is truely a hidden treasure in the gamecube lineup. The controls, graphics, levels, and story are all great. It can be a little cheesy in parts, but for the most part you really want to see what happens in the story. I wish that this game had gotten more press and hype because it was different from anything out there. The control system of the other trooops in your squad make the game worth it in it's own right. If there was a sequel for this game, I would by this system just for this game! It is what a game should be...fun and addictive!

Soul Calibur 2 gave it a 10:
It's nice to see a game that doesn't involve super government agents or spies. The main player is actually a plumber (remind us of anyone...). This is a great game that is similar to Desert Storm except it is a lot better.

This game is probably one of the best games i have played in a long time. The team feature really helps as you can leave your guys to cover you( they even use the mounted machine guns) send them into battle as you snipe for them or just lead a charge. You can also split the teams so you can leave 3 guys to cover you, 2 to go out ahead and 2 to stick with you. You can command up to 12. The storyline is great, but it was ripped off a great movie from the 80's called Red Dawn, the only difference is Red Dawn is in Colorado and this is in New York. You can see some famous places in the background, but you never really go to any. You choose a weapon before the level, bt you can drop that and take a enemies then get your old one back. The only problem is that this game ends too quickly, but it leaves the end open to a new game. And how you end the levels is truley patriotic. As you get to the flag pole of the building you captured, you take down the stinking Soviet Union flag and raise the ole red, white, and blue. This game is a must for everyone. It brings back the good old bloodshed for our nation that is truely turning into pansies. Also Red Dawn is a must see if you like this game.

Fantastic game. the game allows lots of strategy, depth, and a excellent and haunting storyline. The recruiting system is truly unique. the only downside, which is minor, is that the game is a little on the short side. the multiplayer is so much fun to play with friends, and the game has the best style ive ever seen in a gamecube game. kinda reminds me of the revolutionary war. long live chris stone!
