Connelly does a great job of developing the characters and moving the story along. By the time you reach the final several chapters, it is impossible to put the book down. Overall excellent book. Highly recommended.

Matt M gave it a10: Absolutely brilliant sustained tension throughout. Luis Roulette was a really sinister character and it made me not want to put the book down once. Mickey Haller is a fantastic character and you never quite know whether to simpathise with or aggress him. Fantastic book overall, I will certainly be looking out for more Michael Connelly books in the future.
